The best moments of the summer are experienced in Sapanca Kırkpınar Open Air Theatre of Sapanca Municipality; Sapanca Kırkpınar Art Evenings which began in 2007 start in the last days of June and ends in the first days of September. Every year leading artists of Turkish Art Music, Turkish Pop Music, Turkish Classical Music and Turkish Folk Music have concerts; there are also theatre plays for children and adults, Flamenco, dance and movie shows, which create unforgettable moments for all art lovers.
Sapanca Kırkpınar Art Evenings host many Turkish artists as well as guest artists from Spain, Greece and other European countries. Making Turkey known in the world by means of culture and art and making Sapanca a brand in the international arena have been successed thanks to successful works.
In Sapanca Kırkpınar Art Evenings events, you can see events from World opera repertoire to recent songs, Neapolitan, symphonic music, chanson, rembetiko, Turkish Art Music, Turkish folk music, Turkish Pop music and western light music as well as chorus, theatre and dance shows.
