International Sapanca Poetry Evenings has been hosting local and foreigner poets in Sapanca since 2001 and it is realized in Sapanca Municipality Human Rights Park located at the Sapanca lakeside in the last week of June. With the unique view of the lake, there are panels, concerts and poem performances, which creates a hard to forget ambience for art lovers.
International Sapanca Poetry Evenings is realized with the contributions of Sapanca Municipality, Sapanca District Governorship, International Turkish Culture Organization, Sakarya Governor’s Office, East Marmara Development Agency, Turkey Union of Municipalities and Sakarya Metropolitan Municipality and it is totally open to public.
International Sapanca Poetry Evenings is an internationally acknowledged event which is expected impatiently in the literature world and among poets every year. Important and prolific poets shaping our culture world join the meetings in Sapanca every year and we have created an internationally acknowledged tradition.
